The ultrasound appointment went as well as expected...we got to see our beautiful baby boy again and that was SO rewarding. It was so nice to see him, and he looked great. He still has the "bright spot" on this heart, and the ultrasound tech didn't really say anything to us. Just that it's isolated, so it's the only thing that's there, and he looks great otherwise. We didn't get to speak to a doctor while we were there, but I think I'm going to call this afternoon and see if there is anything else we need to do.
I guess not...I guess now we just pray that everything is perfect, and it really is a isolated incident and a normal, healthy baby boy. Though both doctor and ultrasound tech, as well as, my mom say that I shouldn't worry, I still can't help but worry and be scared. I called my mom yesterday and asked her about it, and she immediately said, don't worry, that she had already seen two babies with it earlier that morning, and it was a fairly common occurrence. Regardless, it's still a scary thing, and I just want him to be healthy and perfectly normal.
Even though everyone says not to worry, I'm still going to get my mom to do an ultrasound. Grant is going to be out of town tonight, so I'm hoping that it'll be tonight, but if not, I'll do it on Saturday. My mom and I were planning on spending the day together anyways and doing some shopping, so it would be easy to do it on Saturday too. I'll continue to keep everyone posted as we find anything out, and I'll try really hard not too worry...too much! :/ And if you don't mind, please continue to think of us when you get a moment...I feel like the more people we have rallying around us and praying for us and thinking of us, the better off we'll be. :)
