Breakdown

Edit: I'm feeling much better, and I had a Dunkin Donuts Decaf Latte to make me feel better, and it definitely worked! Cheered me right up! I also went to Physical Therapy today, and it was great, so that made my day wonderful. I'll update you all on Physical Therapy tomorrow!

So, I had a minor breakdown in my office a few minutes ago, and I'm not sure why...I'll chalk it up to the hormones.

I've had a fairly rough past few days in regards to indigestion. I'm feeling fine, but I have terrible, awful indigestion with everything that I eat. It feels like a burning sensation in my chest, and it's miserable and so uncomfortable! Also, I woke up this morning, and I was super swollen for the first time during the pregnancy. I've been a little swollen, but it was pretty bad this morning. My fingers were sore to bend and my feet felt huge. I couldn't get my rings on my finger, so it's the first time that I've gone without my two bands and engagement ring since we were married. I've got them in my little jewelry pouch, just in case, the swelling goes down, and I can wear them. I don't know why I'm suddenly retaining so much water. I stopped by and checked my blood pressure this morning, and it was low, so I know that's not it. So, anyways, I've been feeling pretty crappy and been bummed about my rings and the indigestion.

Then to top it off, Grant has been away from the house in the evenings for the past two nights, and he'll be gone tonight and tomorrow night too, so I'm alone in the evenings with the dog. Not that I don't love Banks, but he doesn't talk back to me, and he requires a lot more time and energy than Grant does. :) So, I'm a little frustrated that he has been gone so much lately, and I'm hoping next week is better. But I guess because of all of this, I got emotional, and I just started crying in my office. I don't even know why...it's so stupid, and I have no reason to be upset. I'm fine now, and I got over it within seconds, so hopefully, I don't have another breakdown anytime soon.

On a completely random note, my fingers are freezing. I'm not sure if it's because my office is cold, but my fingers, especially on my right hand just won't get warm. I guess maybe it's poor circulation, but I'm not sure. It's so strange!

Love Dare & Weekend Update

I made the decision to only do the Love Dare on Monday - Friday and skip out on the weekends and see how it goes. It's not that I can't do it over the weekend or don't have time, but I really don't want Grant to know that I'm doing it, so every time I would go to get it out of my bag over the weekend, I felt like I was sneaking around, and he would come around the corner. So, I'm just going to leave the book at the office, and I'm going to do it during the week.

Anyways, Friday's dare went well, and I'm moving on to my second dare today! Today's dare says: In addition to saying nothing negative to your spouse again today, do at least one unexpected gesture as an act of kindness. I think that I'm going to iron his pants tonight...I hate ironing clothes, and I rarely do it, so he is very grateful when I do. He has some pants that need to be ironed, so I think that I'll iron those pants today as my gesture of kindness.

We had a busy, fun-filled weekend! We woke at 5:30 AM on Saturday, and we headed to a Vizsla Field Day. Banks was able to run around with other Vizsla's, get in the water and get on some birds. He did so great! We then headed to a friend's house to watch the UGA Game! Yay! We won, but barely squeaked by. On Sunday, Grant went hunting, then he painted our back deck, and we put the crib together! :) Can't wait to show photos of the room in progress...I'm going to take some photos tonight!

Here are two photos of Banks from Field Day...

Love is Patient

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
- Ephesians 4:2 NIV

Back in March-April of last year, our Sunday School class at church watched Fireproof and decided to take on the Love Dare. Our Sunday School class consists mostly of young, married couples, so it was a great exercise as a group. Though Grant and I weren't married, we had gone to the movie theater to see Fireproof, and we both really enjoyed it. Grant bought me the DVD as soon as it came out on video. We participated in the Sunday School class, but I have to admit that we failed at completing the 40-Day Love Dare. We started, and we got through the first 20-25 days; however, we weren't married, and at times it was directed towards married couples, and it didn't apply to our relationship. Also, simply put, we got busy...the wedding was a few weeks away, and we were busy with work, last minute wedding plans and finishing up the semester of school, so we just stopped.

After the wedding, and I had time to stop and think about it, I felt like we had failed. We have a great relationship, and we were / are getting along great, but we had committed to doing this, and we didn't finish, and I was disappointed in myself. So, I decided to start from the beginning and do it again. I'm not telling Grant that I'm doing it, but I started today. I read the assignment, and I'm ready for the challenge to actually complete the entire 40 days! I should be finished with this assignment on November 4th. Even though it's a daily exercise, I won't post about my progress daily, but I'll post about how things are going on a regular basis, so I have the accountability from you all. I think I might even go home and watch the movie this weekend for a little added motivation! :) Though we have a great relationship, I can only hope that this exercise will improve our relationship even more, and we will become stronger as a couple. I'll keep you all posted.

Here is today's dare:
The first part of this dare is fairly simple. Although love is communicated in a number of ways, our words often reflect the condition of our heart. For the next day, resolve to demonstrate patience and to say nothing negative to your spouse at all. If the temptation arises, choose not to say anything. It's better to hold your tongue than to say something you'll regret.

This one should be pretty easy...Wish me luck!! :)

Keep Your Fingers Crossed...

...that I make it home this evening!! I'm in Mississippi, and I'm heading back towards Atlanta around 2:00 PM, so I'm going to be driving I-20 all the way! I know that I-20 is still closed due to flooding, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's open by the time I come through. If it's not open, I'll have to take the detour, and I heard that the detour had a very large delay, approximately 4 hours this morning. I'm going to be coming home later in the evening, but I still anticipate that I'll have delays even if I-20 is back open. I'm just anxious to make it home safe and sound and spend the night in the bed with my wonderful husband and see my sweet dog, Banks! It's been a long week, and it's only Wednesday. I don't sleep well in hotels, so I haven't slept well, and I'm tired. It's also been raining in Mississippi, so that's not a whole lot of fun! Anyways, I'm so ready to get back home to Athens! Hope everyone is safe throughout Atlanta!

22 Weeks!!

So, I'm technically not 22 Weeks until tomorrow, but I'll be tied up in meetings all day out in Mississippi tomorrow, so I thought that I would go ahead and post my 22 week update today! :)

How far along? 22 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +10 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Maternity pants only...I am sometimes wearing maternity shirts that aren't huge, but I am still able to wear most of my regular shirts though some are beginning to get short and / or tight.
Stretch marks? Nope...I don't have any yet! Still applying Belly Butter twice daily to help prevent them completely. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
Sleep: Waking up once or twice a night to go to the bathroom, but overall, sleeping fairly well.
Best moment this week: Painting the first two coats of blue in the nursery and repainting the ceiling...now to move onto the stripes! :)
Movement: Yes! I'm feeling him more and more often, and I love it.
Food cravings: Mexican sometimes, and I craved Chicken Pot Pie last week.
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: None...thankfully!
Belly Button in or out? In
What I am looking forward to: Decorating the Nursery! and my next Dr.'s Appointment.
Weekly Wisdom: I don't really have any...
Milestones: Again, painting the first two coat's of blue on the wall and getting some items ready for his arrival! :)

Also, I bought Weston an outfit that I love, and he is going to wear it for Easter next year. It's super cute, and I'm so excited about it. It came in the mail late last week, and I absolutely love it. What do you guys think? This is a picture of the one that was listed to buy, but I obviously got it with Weston's name on it. :)
It's cute, isn't it? Let me just tell you...he is going to be so spoiled! :) He is the first grandchild on both sides of our family, so he'll definitely be getting all that he wants! Ha-Ha!

Thanks for Participating in the Fall Swap!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Fall Swap...rather than posting everyone's information here, I've emailed your partner to you with their information. If you emailed me and wanted to join in on the Fall Swap and haven't received an email with your partner's name, please leave me a comment and let me know. I've just arrived in Mississippi after driving the entire way through the monsoon that is Georgia & Alabama right now, but I'm here, and I'll try to comment on everyone's blog this evening.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Weston's Nursery

So, I have wanted to have a boy first for as long as I can remember, and Grant wants two boys, but we'll see about that! :) I have had nursery ideas picked out since way before he was even thought about, and so, I was really hoping for a boy. We have bought paint and tape for the stripes, and we've done a first coat of blue pant on the walls. I am so excited about his nursery, and I can't wait to show you all the photos.

I made a collage of photos (see below) that I've been collected, which includes the nursery that I'm designing Weston's after, so you can get an idea of what it'll look like. If you click on the photo, it'll open up larger. It's the nursery with stripes and blue walls...I'm obviously going to have some differences, but it'll be fairly similar, as I loved this nursery immediately and the stripes on the wall! I can't wait until it's finished. I'm so excited about. Also, our crib came in, so we get to go pick it up on Saturday! Yay!! I'll post pictures of the first coat of paint and our progress as we go along.Oh yeh...I forgot to add his nightlight to the collage, but you can't go without seeing it. I love it!!

Fall Swap Reminder

Just wanted to remind everyone not to forget to sign up for the Fall Swap if you haven't already...you have until midnight tonight to get your name and information in to me, if you'd like to participate. I think it's going to be a lot of fun, so don't delay! I'll post the partners by Monday, September 21st.

Also, I'll be traveling to Mississippi next week for work, so I may be a little distracted and unable to blog or comment much next week, but I'll try to keep up. I'll be back on Friday, so I'll catch up then.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Nesting

I want to know when you begin "nesting"...All of the pregnant women I know have said that they started nesting during some point of their pregnancy. Cleaning, organizing, cleaning out, etc....And I was wondering when does this start to occur? I'm certain that I haven't reached that point yet. :) I am getting all my usual cleaning done, but I am not really excited or anxious to do it. I need to do an entire pile of ironing, but I don't have hte motivation to do so. So, if anyone of you knows...when can I expect to start wanting to organize the closet and clean things out? I need to start doing it soon, because I've got a long way to go with organizing my closets and cleaning, etc.

I'm feeling better today, and Weston is moving around a lot in my belly the past two days! It's so much fun to feel him kick and move. The nurse said that before long that it'll start to get annoying. Maybe so, but I can't imagine it getting annoying. I just love knowing that he is in their doing well and growing strong and healthy!

Feeling Dejected...

Dejected - depressed in spirits, low-spirited...I was sitting back at my computer after lunch, and this word was the only one that I could think of! I didn't even know for sure that it meant what I thought it meant, sad, I know...but it was how I was feeling, and the word immediately came to mind.

The ultrasound appointment went as well as expected...we got to see our beautiful baby boy again and that was SO rewarding. It was so nice to see him, and he looked great. He still has the "bright spot" on this heart, and the ultrasound tech didn't really say anything to us. Just that it's isolated, so it's the only thing that's there, and he looks great otherwise. We didn't get to speak to a doctor while we were there, but I think I'm going to call this afternoon and see if there is anything else we need to do.

I guess not...I guess now we just pray that everything is perfect, and it really is a isolated incident and a normal, healthy baby boy. Though both doctor and ultrasound tech, as well as, my mom say that I shouldn't worry, I still can't help but worry and be scared. I called my mom yesterday and asked her about it, and she immediately said, don't worry, that she had already seen two babies with it earlier that morning, and it was a fairly common occurrence. Regardless, it's still a scary thing, and I just want him to be healthy and perfectly normal.

Even though everyone says not to worry, I'm still going to get my mom to do an ultrasound. Grant is going to be out of town tonight, so I'm hoping that it'll be tonight, but if not, I'll do it on Saturday. My mom and I were planning on spending the day together anyways and doing some shopping, so it would be easy to do it on Saturday too. I'll continue to keep everyone posted as we find anything out, and I'll try really hard not too worry...too much! :/ And if you don't mind, please continue to think of us when you get a moment...I feel like the more people we have rallying around us and praying for us and thinking of us, the better off we'll be. :)

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” —Psalm 139:13-14

And I thought everything was perfect...

So, I'm struggling today, and I'm trying so hard not to worry, but it's so hard. I had an appointment today to see my OB, and it went well. I've gained 9 lbs., my blood pressure was 116/64, and Weston's heartbeat was at 139 bpm. It went great, and I got my sugar drink to drink before my next appointment. I left the doctor's appointment, and I had a meeting, then Grant & I went home to eat lunch.

When I got back to the office, I had a voicemail from the doctor...I had seen a different doctor that is in the practice with my doctor today, and she was telling me that there was a note from my actual doctor about having me come back in for another ultrasound. She asked me to call her when I got a chance and ask to speak to her. So, I immediately was concerned and called her, and she told me that in the ultrasound, the Ultrasound Tech had found a bright spot (EIF) on the baby's heart, but that it's usually no big deal and nothing to worry about, and there were no other indications that anything was wrong. She asked that I come back in for an ultrasound just to check again and make sure that nothing was wrong...

Even though she said not to worry about it, and that many babies have something like this, I'm still freaking out! I can't help but be worried, and I've cried over what is most likely nothing. I keep telling myself that if it was something really wrong, they would've called me back in right after the appointment to check it again. But in the back of my mind, I can't help but worry that something might be wrong with our precious baby boy!

So, we go tomorrow at 11:00 AM to see if anything is wrong. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers during that time, and we will hopefully know before we leave that nothing is wrong. I'll keep you posted! Thanks everyone!!

*I don't really feel like reading and commenting on your blogs today, so I apologize if I'm absent. I'll try to read some, but I just feel like going home and curling up in my bed. I'll try to catch up tomorrow and definitely by the end of the week!

UGA vs. USC & A Fiasco

Wow!! What a game on Saturday?! It was definitely a nail biter, but I hated that the game was so late. It made for an extremely long day and a lazy day on Sunday. Grant woke up and went hunting on Saturday morning. I woke up and went on a walk with the dog and some neighbors. I showered and got ready to go tailgate. We went and tailgated from about noon to 6:30 PM or so. We then packed it all up and headed back to the house to watch the game. We ordered pizza and watched the game, but by the end, I was almost passed out, because I was so exhausted. It was hot, and we had taken Banks with us to tailgate. It was a great time though, and I really enjoyed hanging out with our friends.

We went to sleep right after the game, and we woke up the next morning and headed to church. After church, we ate lunch and then Grant went to my dad's house. He was planning on mowing his hunting club with my dad's tractor, but they ran into one problem after another. He got to my parents house and my dad was cutting the grass, so he had to wait about an hour until he was finished. They left and went to get the trailer, but the tire was low, so they filled it with air, then went to get the tractor, they got the tractor on the trailer and the tire was low again, so they took it and got it patched and then were headed down the interstate when the tire blew out. They made it onto the side of the road, then called places looking for a tire. Finally when no one had one, they drove an hour to Lawrenceville to my dad's friends shop to find a tire. They found tires, and they replaced them all but one. During the tire replacement, my dad's finger got smashed and tore the entire fingernail off his finger. By this time, it was after 9:00 PM. They got on the road, and they got to the hunting club and unloaded the tractor. Grant finally got home after Banks and I were already in bed a little after midnight.

It was a rough Sunday for Grant and my dad, but they finally got the tractor where it needed to be. Now, Grant is planning on spending some time mowing the hunting club this week since he was able to get it finished on Sunday. My Sunday was a little more relaxing...I wasn't feeling that great, and I was worn out, so I took a nap with Banks after church, read my book, cleaned up the house a little bit and just relaxed. It was a nice Sunday for me! :)

Fall Swap

I've been entertaining the idea of hosting a Fall Swap for a few weeks now, and I've finally decided after some feedback from others to host my first swap, and it'll be a Fall Swap, because I don't know about you all, but I'm really looking forward to the Fall.

The theme for the swap is obviously Fall, so any Fall items that you'd like to send to your partner whether they be Halloween, Thanksgiving or for Fall in general.

So here are the rules...
- Spend no more than $25, does not include shipping
- Send your partner a minimum of two items...it can be anything you want from decorations to stationary to something monogrammed since I know many of us out there love monogrammed items!
- Also, one more thing...since there are SO many great dishes out there for the Fall, you must include your favorite Fall recipe. I know you guys have some, so help your Blog Friends out by sending them a new idea for a Fall treat!

Please email me at historyoftheharveys@yahoo.com by Friday, September 18th. Please indicate "Fall Swap" in the subject line to help me stay organized. Your email should include your name, email address, mailing information and blog address. It's OK if you don't have a blog, but make sure you email your buddy to give her a little insight on your likes and dislikes. I will list swap pals by Monday, September 21st. Packages must be sent out by Monday, October 5th.

This is my very first swap to host and organize, so please let everyone know to come by and sign up! Hope everyone will participate!

I Heart My Doppler!

So, I have a friend who is a born worrier, and she bought a Fetal Doppler when she was pregnant with her son, so she could hear his heartbeat without going to the Doctor's office. She thought it was the best thing ever, so she immediately offered it up for me to borrow when she found out that I was pregnant. I was hesitant at first, because I was told that it will just worry you if you can't find it and you'll think that something is wrong. After a few weeks, I brushed that aside, and I decided that I would borrow it and at least give it a try without holding too much merit to the results.

Anyways, I tried to find his heartbeat for the first time around 15 weeks, and I couldn't find it. I didn't get discouraged, but I put it away, and I decided that I wouldn't listen again for a few weeks, because it was just an at home Doppler and not nearly as strong as the one at the doctor's office. We went to the beach this weekend with my family, and since my mom does ultrasounds, I had her try to find it again. She found it right away, and she was able to hear it and my dad and I were able to hear it. It was such a sweet sound.

I listened to it again on Monday night when we got home and again last night...I'm not able to hear his heartbeat in almost the same location every single time, and I can find it right away! It's awesome, and I love the swishing sound of his heartbeat. It makes me so happy, and I know that he is okay, and I just love it!! I'm so glad that I was able to borrow it, even though I'm confident that I would've been just fine without, it's a pretty neat thing, and I really enjoy checking up on my growing little one.

On another note, I was putting Banks in his kennel in the backyard yesterday morning, and I picked up his bone to bring with him into his crate, and I suddenly felt like something was pinching the palm of my hand. I looked down, and I had an ant biting the palm of my hand. He ended up biting me two times, and I can't stop itching today. Has anyone ever been bit by an ant on the palm of your hand? What a strange place?!

20 Down...20 to Go!!

Today marks the halfway point for the pregnancy...I'm 20 weeks today, and I couldn't be more excited. It feels like just yesterday that I found at that I was pregnant...the time is going by really fast, but at the same time, I'm so anxious for it to get here that I feel like it's crawling by sometimes.I almost don't feel like I'm quite halfway, because I didn't actually conceive for two weeks, then I didn't know that I was pregnant for two weeks, so it found out at 3 weeks, 6 days into it, so I haven't been knowledgeable of the pregnancy for the full 20 weeks.

Anyways, here is an update of how things are going so far!
How far along? 20 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +8-9 lbs or so...I haven't weighed myself since the end of last week, so I'm not sure!
Maternity clothes? Maternity pants and some shirts, but I can still fit into most of my regular shirts too though they are starting to get tight around the middle!
Stretch marks? Nope...Not yet and applying my stretch mark cream daily in hopes that I can stay without stretch marks!
Sleep: Decent. I'm still waking up a few times a night to go to the bathroom, but I'm sleeping okay. Grant is probably sleeping worse than I am, because he wakes up every time I move.
Best moment this week: I have so many...a wonderful ultrasound appointment on Monday, more kicks and movements from Weston and people noticing that I'm pregnant!
Movement: Yes...pretty often! It's such a cool feeling!
Food cravings: Sweets...That's SO bad!
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: None...And let's hope it stays that way!
Belly Button in or out? In
What I am looking forward to: Decorating the Nursery and meeting Baby Harvey...not for awhile though!
Weekly Wisdom: Not sure...I don't really have any!
Milestones: Feeling movement and a perfectly normal ultrasound appointment last Monday! And hearing Baby's heartbeat on the home Fetal Doppler that I borrowed from a friend! It's such a wonderful sound!

Pregnant & Work Travel

Edit: I have two doctor's appointments the second week of travel, so I was able to get out of that week. I'm SO thrilled! I didn't want to have to reschedule both of my appointments, so I just asked about it, and they said it wasn't a problem! Yes!!

So, I'm only 19 weeks pregnant, but I already don't want to travel, especially when it comes to traveling for long distances. Unfortunately, I travel some for my job which is going to stop next year when the baby arrives, but I'm going to have to travel some in the next few months, and I'm trying to figure out where I should draw the line.

I'm traveling to Mississippi the Week of September 21st. It's a 6-7 hour car drive from Athens, and I'll be driving by myself. It won't be too bad, but I don't think that I'll be super comfortable driving for that long, especially since I need to drink water, but I don't want to stop every ten minutes. I've already committed to this traveling, so there is no way around it, and I don't think it'll be too much.

I've then had a request to travel to L'Anse, Michigan the Week of September 28th. First off, I'll have just traveled the week before and spent the entire week away from my hubby...I don't really want to do it two weeks in a row. Second, I would have to fly and drive to get to our office there. It would be a minimum of a 4 hour flight, then another 1-2 hours to drive to our office.

Next up, they want me to travel to Bingham, Maine the Week of October 5th. That's the following week, so that would be three weeks of traveling out of town and without being with my husband. It would be miserable. And the flight and drive in Bingham is even worse than the one to L'Anse. It's about a five hour flight to Bingham.

Anyways, I know I'll be fine to go to all of them, because I won't be that far along, but I just really hate that they are even putting me in that situation by asking me to go out of town for three weeks in a row after I'm half way through my pregnancy. I'll be 22 weeks when I go to Missisippi, then 23 weeks in L'Anse and 24 weeks in Bingham.

I also hate traveling with a passion, and I don't want to spend three full weeks out of town without my husband. It's not fun, and I don't enjoy it. I don't enjoy not being able to exercise in the comfort of my own neighborhood or gym, and I don't enjoy not being able to decide what to eat, because our choices are limited, and we have to eat out.

I know...I'm full of complaints, but I just really don't want to have to go to all three, and I'm not sure how I want to approach the situation. I'm going to request to only go to two. I know that I'm going to Mississippi, but possibly, only go to either L'Anse or Bingham. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Thankful Thurdsay

Photobucket

So, I have been seeing "Thankful Thursdays" on quite a few blogs in the past few months, and I felt lead to start doing this each Thursday, if I remember. It's so easy to take the things that you have for granted and to not say "Thank You" or be grateful often enough, and I know that I've been reading some blogs of people who are having some tough times right now...people who have lost a child or a loved one, and it breaks my heart. It really makes me realize how lucky I am and how I should take a few moments everyday to be thankful and say a little prayer for all the things that I've been blessed with...I took the button above from Life After I "Dew", so go on over and check out her blog and things that she is thankful for this Thursday!

Anyways, today I am thankful for...
  • Baby Weston - A successful doctor's appointment on Monday and a normal, healthy baby boy growing in my belly!
  • Mr. Harvey - He is so supportive of me and everything that I want to do, i.e. my goals, aspirations, etc. He is so loving right now when I'm feeling like I'm gaining weight and not feeling that attractive. And he wakes up with me in the night when I'm not feeling good, can't get comfortable or just can't sleep, because he doesn't want me to feel bad alone. He's the most amazing husband that I could ever ask for!
  • The Beach - I'm feeling so grateful that we get to take tomorrow off work and head down to the beach for Labor Day weekend. And we get to spend the weekend "dog-free", so we'll have a nice weekend of sleeping in a little bit late and enjoying one another.
  • The Weather - It's gorgeous outside, and it's been so nice to be able to take the dog on a comfortable 2-mile walk around the neighborhood.
  • My Parents, especially my Mom - They are awesome, and they are going to love their grandson so much! My mom has already been to two consignment sales and bought bags and bags of clothes. And she is making cookies to bring to the beach this weekend, and I'm so excited about them! :)
I could go on and on with various things that I'm thankful for...my job, our house, etc., but I'll stop for now, and I'll post more things that I'm thankful for next Thursday. I may not be posting tomorrow, because I'll be out of the office and traveling to Jekyll. If not, I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Holiday Weekend.

Jekyll Island

One of my favorite places in the world is Jekyll Island, and we are headed down for the weekend for some R&R, and I couldn't be more excited. I'm really looking forward to going down, because we are actually going for Master 4-H Camp. I grew up being a 4-H'er, and I became a Master 4-H'er in high school, so we started going to Master 4-H Camp every year at Jekyll Island over Labor Day. It's a fun event where families and friends come together at the 4-H Center to spend a weekend catching up, laying out at the beach, playing games and square dancing in the evenings.

Yes...I really do know how to square dance! And it's just such a fun weekend for all of us. Grant has been once before, and he had a good time. It's always fun, and it's nice to catch-up with those families and friends that we only see once a year. I'm looking forward to it, and I'm trying to talk Grant into going down on Thursday, but it seems like a losing battle. Either way, we'll be there Friday afternoon, and we'll be staying until Monday. I'm so excited, and I wish we were there already! Is it Friday yet?
